Coming 2025 - Dark Comedy, Satire Short Film

Self-exiled from society and on the brink of insanity, a writer vows to kill himself if he does not find an ending to his magnum opus by the end of the day. Struggling to write, he takes a copious amount of psychedelics in order to find inspiration.

Atomic Midnight is a dark comedy short film by Writer Director Samer Saifan made in Los Angeles, California. It is a satirical story with themes of the conflicted artist, pursuit of genius, and isolation.

Originally, this was the first film I ever made before I went into NYU film school. With my new years of experience and skills, I decided to reshoot and remaster this project with new cinematography, editing, color grading, and sound design. It is currently in post production and is planned for a 2025 festival run.
